Very Important: It's Your Responsibility

Sigma units do not get packed for shipping until thorough
inspections have been completed. SIGMA units do not leave our
facilities damaged in any way.

Inspecting your new SIGMA Whirlpool Bath unit prior to
installation is the responsibility of the installer/building
contractor who acts on behalf of the owner/user. You and your
installer/building contractor are responsible for ensuring the
unit is free of defects and/or damage. Notices are placed on and
in the unit and shipping carton advising the installer of this
responsibility. In the event of a problem, the unit must NOT be
installed, please contact us immediately within 48 hours.
SIGMA uses only insured freight carriers, it costs more, but it is
worth it if shipping damage occurs. Your shipped unit is insured
against shipping damage through freight company hired.

SIGMA is NOT responsible for defects or damage that could
have been discovered, repaired or avoided by proper inspection
and testing of the unit prior to installation. The tub must be
checked thoroughly upon delivery for any damage that may
have occurred during shipping and handling.

Damage incurred in shipping is the responsibility of the
CARRIER.

Regardless of company carrier or common carrier shipping, it is
your responsibility to inspect the unit upon delivery prior to
signing the acceptance in good condition section of the invoice.
If damage is detected, it must be reported to SIGMA
immediately and in the case of common carrier, to the carrier in
writing with a request for an inspection. Failure of the carrier to
respond should be reported to SIGMA and the common carrier
company. Your freight claim should be filed promptly thereafter.

Damage occurring to the unit during or after installation is the
responsibility of the installer and/or building contractor.

Remember, the user/installer must open the crate and inspect
the unit for damage when it is delivered. If the unit is damaged
it is YOUR responsibility to report damage immediately to SIGMA
and/or the freight company. DO NOT sign the freight bill if
damage is found. Call SIGMA!

Pre-test your tub BEFORE placing it in your bathroom. Your
SIGMA Whirlpool Bath goes through rigorous testing at the
factory but shipping and handling sometimes damages the units
or works the pipe system loose. Therefore, after receiving your
tub and before moving the unit into your bathroom to install,
place the tub in an area where water spillage can occur
(driveway, garage or basement with a drain, etc.).

Fill the tub with water to about 2-3inches above the jets. Plug
the motor into an outlet. While the motor is running, check all
pipe and pipe fittings for moisture, the best way to do this is by
taking a piece of tissue paper, and rub it over all pipes and
fittings. Any moisture means there is leakage at that fitting.

Also, to ensure warranty, level the tub by using cement mortar
mix. Entire area under the tub floor must be completely filled
with mortar. Mortar must be in contact with underneath side of
tub floor and in contact with supporting floor.

SIGMA is NOT responsible for damage that could have been
discovered, repaired, or otherwise avoided by proper inspection
and testing prior to installation. Again, damage to the unit
during or after installation is the responsibility of the installer/
building contractor.

If you should have questions about your responsibilities, please
