cost are from $100 to $300.

send your bath (insured) via common carrier. We will
provide you with tracking number and can request freight
company to call ahead to verify delivery date and time.
Sigma
packs like no other. Our commitment to quality shows
all the way to your front door. Most companies ship their baths
simply wrapped in plastic and strapped to a skid, this really
isn't protection at all.
We
crate all baths in 1/2 inch OSB with ¼ x 1 inch hex screws,
or phillips type screws. We recommend having a cordless drill
and ¼ inch hex bit and/or #2 phillips bit to open crate.
Please
be very careful when unpacking and remove all screws
before removing crate walls. Please do not use pry bar to open
crate as this may damage bath unit. Sigma is not responsible
for damage occurred during unpacking.
Please
remember that it is the responsibility of the shipper to
deliver the tub to your house, and not in your house or in your
bathroom. It is your responsibility to get the tub from the place
where the truck stops to your desired location. In addition,
please be sure that someone who is able to help the driver
remove the shipment from the truck is on site during delivery or
other charges may apply. We recommend at least 3 to 4 people
who together can lift 200 Lbs.
Additional
shipping charges you may incur in
addition to base shipping charges
1)
Residential Delivery Fee - If you have the bathtub delivered
to your home address, the freight company will charge an

this charge you can either have the bathtub delivered to a
business address or receive the bathtub at the freight terminal.
Call Sigma for your nearest freight terminal location.
2) Lift Gate Charge - When the bathtub is delivered, someone
must be at the shipping address that is able to assist the driver
removing the bathtub from the freight truck and to sign for the
shipment. You will need help unloading and moving bath unit,
we recommend at least 3 to 4 people who together can lift
200 Lbs. If no one is available, the freight company could
charge a $50 - $150 Lift Gate Charge to unload and you will
still need to move bath unit to where you want it.
3) Redelivery Charge - If your delivery is a home delivery, the
freight company will call 1 - 2 days ahead of the delivery date
to arrange an approximate time. If no one is there at this time
the freight company will charge a redelivery charge that could
range from $50 - $150.
Bathtubs Damaged During Shipment
1)
If your bathtub arrives and the box is damaged, open the
box and inspect the bathtub before the driver leaves. If there
is damage, you must file a claim with the trucking company.
Then, as soon as possible, call Sigma and inform us of the
situation. We will then send you a new tub out ASAP and follow
the claim process through for you.
2) If you discover that the bathtub has concealed damage after
the driver leaves and there was no damage to the box, call
Sigma and we will pursue a claim for concealed damage for you.
If there is no damage to the box or pallet, the driver will not
stay for you to inspect for concealed damage. But if damage
exists, it must be discovered in a reasonable amount of time
(a few days) in order to be able to file a claim.
Returned Bathtubs
1)
If you receive a bath unit that is not what you expected,
wanted, needed or you ordered incorrectly and you decide to
return the bathtub, the only charges that you will incur are the
freight charges to send the bathtub back to our factory. In
addition, you may have to pay to have the bathtub repackaged
if necessary. To prevent this from happening, please check your
order form thoroughly and verbally confirm your order on the
telephone with us.
2) If you receive a bathtub that is not what you ordered and
we (Sigma) made a mistake, you will not incur any additional
costs whatsoever for the returned bathtub.
