Framing Instructions
Framing should be provided to support bath units outer rim and
finished wall surround.
The weight of the unit must be supported from floor and
not bath units outer rim.
Most building codes require and we recommend access to
pump/motor in the event they need servicing, we recommend
a framed out 12" x 12"door in closest wall from pump or if
island installed use an easy to remove apron or place cabinet
door on apron.
If unit is to be installed with any rim edge against surrounding
wall with tile, installation of a tile flange kit is recommended,
you may purchase a tile flange kit from most larger home
improvement stores or local plumbing house.
Level tub in place using cement mortar mix. Failure to level
bath unit will not allow water to drain properly and will also
void warranty. We recommend using a 4' level.
Once tub is in place seal rim edges or where rim touches wall,
connect drain/overflow and water supply , connect whirlpool
system plug into GFCI installed on separate 115VAC with GFCI
outlet.
