Before Installing Your Sigma Bath
All local and state building codes must be met when installing
your bath. Have only a licensed and insured electrician install
separate 115VAC circuit with GFCI. Sigma recommends having
licensed and insured contractor install your Sigma bath.
Do not lift bath by whirlpool system plumbing or fittings, this
is clearly marked on plumbing system, doing so can work loose
joint or wall fitting and could possibly cause leaks and will void
warranty.
Test whirlpool system. Place bath in area you can drain water
ex. driveway, basement or garage with floor drain.
1. Fill tub to at least 2" above highest jet.
2. Turn on whirlpool system.
3. Run dry hand around all wall fittings and pipe joints.
Tissue paper also works well. If there is any moisture wipe
area dry to make sure the moisture is not from splashing of
whirlpool system or hose used to fill tub. If there is still
moisture and you can see seepage or drip do not install bath.
Call Sigma immediately.
Inspect bath finish thoroughly. Any damage during shipping
must be reported to Sigma immediately. Also check over
shipping papers to make sure bath sent is what you ordered.
Do not install a damaged tub, doing so will void warranty.
